A Year of Service Across Florida
In 2023, Juliette Ashley Valle was crowned Miss Florida, where she also earned the Best Interview Award and the Women in Law Scholarship.
During her reign, Juliette traveled extensively throughout the state representing the Miss America Opportunity and engaging with communities across Florida. Through official appearances, nonprofit partnerships, and public speaking engagements, she set the all-time record for the most official appearances during a Miss Florida year of service.
Her work focused heavily on health advocacy, civic engagement, and community outreach. She collaborated with organizations including the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, Donate Life America, the American Heart Association, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, Best Buddies, and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
In recognition of her leadership and community impact during this time, Juliette was honored with the International Women’s Day Award from 100 Successful Women in Business, celebrating women who are creating meaningful change through advocacy, leadership, and public service.

Representing Florida at Miss America
Not only did Juliette made Top Ten at the Miss America Competition, she also made history by delivering the first bilingual onstage response in the competition’s history.
The moment reflected both her cultural heritage and her commitment to expanding representation on national stages. Through the Miss America scholarship program, Juliette earned educational funding that has helped support her continued academic pursuits, including her Juris Doctor studies at St. Thomas University College of Law and her Master’s studies in Business and Management at Harvard University.

Continuing the Mission: Rise Up, Latinas!
Inspired by her commitment to representation, Juliette founded Rise Up, Latinas!, a movement dedicated to empowering Latina women through mentorship, leadership development, and expanded opportunities. Her work uplifting Latina voices was previously recognized by El Nuevo Herald with the Latina Up & Comer Award, honoring emerging Latina leaders creating meaningful impact in their communities.
